A 10 yr old boy presented with a large full thickness corneoscleral tear with uveal tissue and vitreous prolapse and probable expulsion of lens following injury with a cow’s horn while he was playing.

Did our best to repair the wound so that the contour of globe could be maintained. However the visual prognosis in such cases is extremely guarded.

Unfortunate to see young kids suffering from such major trauma. This highlights how important it is to ensure safety of kids while they play.
